NTT Data is a global tech innovation consultancy that services over 80% of Fortune Global 100 companies. During a year of staggering uncertainty for their clients, they wanted to create a resource to bring together knowledge and insights from experts and market leaders, that would serve an audience of leaders in C-suite positions.
Through work with their agency partner, the quarterly publication CXO Magazine was born. The team approached us to help create a podcast that would augment their existing content and extend the reach of the magazine.
Working closely with their team, we developed a format to capture the theme of that month’s magazine and serve an audience in the know. Each episode incorporates a number of distinct ‘chapters’, delving deep into a topic with the expert guests, before giving the host Joe the chance to offer an opinion and summary.
As neither guests nor hosts were trained speakers, along with the fact that the show had to be recorded remotely, the challenge was to create a podcast of remarkable quality to equal the rest of the magazine. To do this we first provided training to the host, carried out a particularly meticulous edit in post, created bespoke sound design, and used a professional voiceover artist for introduction and ending dialogue. This created a sonic identity that was cohesive with the rest of the brand.
